Stanbrook Abbey Hotel Worcestershire

Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, Worcestershire is a former Grade II listed monastery dating back to the early 16^th century. A recent, and major, renovation programme was expressly designed to reflect the original architecture, including its dramatic stone cloisters and gothic stained-glass windows.

Set in 26 acres of extensive gardens, this country house hotel is nestled between the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills. Located close to the hamlet of Callow End, just 3 miles to the south of the city of Worcester, this was the chosen venue of Hayley and Ricky for this elegant summer wedding.

The Ceremony

Callow Great Hall, Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, Worcestershire

Formerly the chapel of the abbey, Callow Great Hall has a capacity for 200 guests, seated in hand-carved wooden pews, and is breathtaking. The towering arched ceiling and beautiful stained glass windows gave a stunning backdrop to the civil ceremony. Hayley looked radiant as she was escorted down the aisle to the melodic sounds of a string quartet.

The Wedding Breakfast

St. Anne’s Hall, Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, Worcestershire

Located in the west wing of the hotel, this air-conditioned, light and airy hall was beautifully decorated with fragrant floral arrangements for Hayley and Ricky’s reception. Retaining many period features, this newly refurbished space features an outdoor balcony and terrace overlooking spectacular grounds and countryside beyond. Later that evening, the Hall was transformed into a party room for the tossing of the bride’s bouquet and Hailey and Ricky’s first dance.
