It is really nice to hear that, after all the effort we put in to capturing our images, we are recognised for producing award-winning wedding photography. The website, Your Perfect Wedding Photographer , chose this image, Love Sparkles, as one of the best photographs of 2021.
Becky and Lee worked so hard to host an amazing celebration for family and friends. Not only did we all enjoy this magnificent fireworks display in the grounds of De Vere’s historic South Cotswolds hotel but we also had X Factor winner, Louisa Johnson, serenading us throughout the day.

Our Award-Winning Wedding Photography
We captured Twilight Moment at the end of Sophie and Anthony’s wedding day, just after their first dance. It was shot against an unusually beautiful night sky at the Elvetham Hotel . After scouting out the right location for a final portrait, we decided to set up a single flash on a tall light stand. This would add just the right touch of light to really make the couple standout against what was already an incredible naturally-lit night sky.
If you have tried to photograph fireworks yourself, you will know this type of photography can be tricky. Anticipating what is likely to appear in front of your lens in a few seconds time is key and generally comes with experience of photographing many displays. As Becky and Lee were facing this fireworks show, it was a great opportunity to capture the train of Becky’s magnificent wedding gown.
