As soon as I heard that Gus & Elle were planning their wedding at the gorgeous St Ermin’s Hotel, I knew that this was going to be a special day. The 4-star luxury St. Ermin’s Hotel, London is tucked away in Westminster. It is not only a top end establishment – but one of the most spectacular wedding venues I’ve ever had the pleasure to photograph at.
Westminster Chapel ceremony
With the service being held a stone’s throw from St. Ermin’s, at Westminster Chapel, it was a nice change to be able to walk between ceremony and reception venues.
After a relaxed morning photographing Elle and her bridesmaids getting ready, we were treated to a lovely chapel marriage service – with a twist. With Gus being Portuguese, there were a couple of fun traditions thrown in, which made for a really meaningful ceremony.
St. Ermin’s London wedding bubbles
After the marriage ceremony, it was back to St. Ermin’s Hotel to really celebrate . With the guests in the mood to party, the dance floor quickly filled. It wasn’t long, however, before the night had to draw to a close, but not before a stunning bubble departure for the newly married couple.
I thoroughly enjoyed being invited to photograph Gus & Elle’s wedding, and with all their friends and family being so accommodating towards me – it’s one I’m sure I’ll never forget.
