I was again asked to shoot a wedding at the beautiful 10th century St.Mary the Virgin Church in beautiful Iffley Village. This was followed by a brilliant wedding breakfast at Milton Hill House Hotel, a popular choice for couples, and located within easy reach of the motorway network.
St Mary the Virgin Church, Iffley Village
The picturesque church is just a couple of miles from Oxford city centre. Wedding photographers love this building for its gorgeous stained glass windows and magnificent arched doorways in carved stone.
Milton Hill House Hotel
Following an Oxfordshire church wedding, a favourite venue for the wedding breakfast is the grand Milton Hill House Hotel, just a few miles away near Abingdon. Standing in 22 acres of wooded parkland, and being mid-October, I knew this would provide a great opportunity to make the most of the stunning autumn colours. The trees were just starting to turn from green to bronze and gold. As I drove through the gates, I felt lucky Danielle and Jamie had chosen elegant Milton Hill House Hotel for their celebrations.

I enjoy photographing bridal preparations in the morning but always conscious that I am not only taking images of the bride but also people who are working! So a special thanks to Danielle’s superb hair stylist from The Wedding Hair Specialist and makeup artist extraordinaire, Colleen E. Wright
