After meeting Sam at the Silverlinings Wedding Fair at the Guildhall in Northampton and having a brief chat about photography and his wedding, although I’m pretty sure it was more about photography – I knew that this was going to be a wedding to look forward to. We set up a meeting and the minute I met Laura, I could see how these two people had ended up together. Five minutes into our first chat and I felt as if I had known them both forever. They made me feel so comfortable and welcome and were interested to hear and take on board little suggestions I offered for their wedding.
The morning of their wedding, as I drove over to Laura, the weather seemed to smile down on them – offering us the first day of spring for the year. I was welcomed to a cup of tea and a lovely family kitty that seemed to be unfussed by all the commotion that a wedding morning brings.
The ceremony was beautiful at the Holiday Inn Milton Keynes East with several touching readings from key members of the congregation.
The day eventually gave way to night, where Laura and Sam had laid on a Ceilidh band to really help the party get going. I wish them all the best in their married life together.
